- I made a mistake on my address, can I change it on my order?
- The service point I selected is no longer available/closed for the holidays, can I change the label?
- The seller told me the shipping label failed because my service point isn’t valid, but the information is correct.
- The shipping label failed and the seller is asking me to refund them the new shipping fees—is this normal?

1. I made a mistake on my address, can I change it on my order?
Our system uses the address you entered to calculate the shipping fees and issue labels. You cannot change the address for an order that has already been created on Vinted.
However, you can contact the seller via chat as soon as you realize the mistake. If the order hasn’t been shipped:
- The seller can manually change the address on the label or buy another label with the correct address.
- We’ll automatically transfer them the shipping fees you paid. You are responsible for any additional shipping costs incurred because of your mistake.
Don't forget to change your address on your Vinted profile for future orders.
2. The service point I selected is no longer available/closed for the holidays, can I change the label?
Once the order is made, we cannot re-create the label.
As for your order:
- The seller will have to buy another label with the updated information on the carrier's website and send us the receipt for the shipping costs they paid.
- We’ll transfer the shipping fees you already paid to the seller and refund any extra costs incurred.
Your order cannot be shipped to a service point through the home delivery option. If it is, your order will get lost. Please make sure you confirm the shipping method and destination address with the seller via chat.
3. The seller told me the shipping label failed because my service point isn’t valid, but the information is correct.
We can’t create a new label for orders that are in progress. The seller will have to buy a new label from the carrier's website. We’ll make sure they are refunded for the shipping costs they had to pay.
Please check the following information for future orders:
- Your service point may be temporarily closed, so the shipping provider won’t generate labels for this location.
- Your service point may have stopped working with the shipping provider. If so, the store may still be open but we can’t send new orders there.
- Please check the status of your preferred service point on the shipping provider’s website. You’ll find the information there on whether the service point is available to receive future orders.
4. The shipping label failed and the seller is asking me to refund them the new shipping fees—is this normal?
No, it’s not. The seller should send us the receipt once they pay for a new shipping label through the provider’s website. We’ll automatically transfer them the shipping fees you paid for the purchase and will refund any extra fees incurred.
However, the seller must buy a new label using the shipping method you selected when purchasing the item. Your order cannot be shipped to a service point through the home delivery option—it will likely get lost.
Please make sure you confirm the shipping method and the destination address with the seller via chat.
5. I mistyped my name/used my username when ordering, will my order be delivered?
Service points usually ask for ID before releasing an order. If your mistyped/fake name is close enough to your real one and you show them the app, they may give you the package.
If your order can’t be delivered/picked up at the service point, it will be returned to the seller. Once the seller has the order back, you can either:
- ask the seller to ship it back to you with your real name (you’ll have to pay for the new shipping fees), or
- submit a cancellation request and be refunded.
