You can change the package type for your item at any time, as long as it isn’t marked as sold. Do this by going to your listing and clicking “Edit”.
When your item is sold, the shipping cost is charged based on the package type indicated on the listing. If you had set a wrong package type for the item and it was already sold, you should:
- Notify the buyer in the chat—you may be able to agree on using a different shipping method
- Buy a new shipping label (online or at the post office/service point)
- Ship the package, mark it as sent and send the new tracking number to the buyer in ‘My Orders’
- You’ll receive the shipping fee paid by the buyer once the order is finalized
Additional shipping costs aside from the ones initially paid by the buyer will not be covered by Vinted.
