Delivery disruptions in Western Canada

A provincial state of emergency was declared in British Columbia (BC) where terrible weather conditions have resulted in floods, mudslides and rockslides. These weather conditions mean that many roads are closed and slowing down deliveries in Western Canada.

Please keep this is mind when:

  • you're shipping to a buyer in that area
  • you purchased item(s) from a seller located in BC, and are waiting for the package to arrive.

In both cases, you should expect delays for items to reach their destinations.

Shipping providers will post regular updates on the situation and how their deliveries are impacted. Make sure you keep an eye on their respective alert pages:

If your order is not yet shipped

Please contact your buyer or seller via the private chat to inform them of the situation and agree with them on the next steps. You can decide together to either:

  • wait for the situation to improve and ship the item later, even if it's more than 5 days after the purchase. If you both agree on this option, please make sure you contact our Support team (click on Get in touch below, select Shipping & Delivery then My parcel is shipped to/from BC) so we can suspend your order in the meantime.
  • cancel the order so the buyer can be fully refunded.

If your order has already been shipped

You can keep an eye on your order by clicking on the Track my item button from the order page. Don't hesitate to contact your seller or buyer via your private chat to keep them up-to-date.

If the item cannot be delivered (e.g., the carrier is unable to reach the address or the pick-up point is closed), it will be returned to the seller or kept in a sorting facility until the situation improves.

In these specific cases, please make sure you contact our Support team (click on Get in touch below, select Shipping & Delivery then My parcel is shipped to/from BC) so we can suspend your order until it's received back by the seller or it finally reaches its original destination.

If your item is delivered back to the seller, you'll be able to cancel the order so the buyer can be fully refunded.
